We've used Trusted Housesitters for several years and have always had great sitters. But Veronica and Adam are the best we've ever had! We got a new puppy about 1 month before we left and we were having a very hard time housebreaking him. We were gone for 1 month and when we returned, our puppy was not only housebroken but they had taught him several important obedience commands. We came home to a new dog! At our request, Veronica and Adam agreed to stay with us a few more days to help us even further with training our little Kaipo. They also took excellent care of our house and our gardens. Adam is very knowledgeable about computers and electronics and was able to speed up our internet and help us with several other related issues. We found them both to be loving and kind, smart and interesting, and committed to doing an excellent job. We would certainly welcome them back and hope they are available the next time we need a sitter.

“Adam and Veronica were the ideal sitters. They took great care of our Fifi, Rosie, and the chickens as well as helped program our Alexas, purchased a bird bath for Rosie and installed our chicken coop automatic door as well as trying to devise a way to keep the wild birds from entering the coop to eat the chicken feed. Almost every day we would receive a fresh pictures of Fifi, and Rosie (our Rosella Bird). Because of their diligence, taking initiative, kindness, and thoughtfulness they have become one of our top sitters we have ever had. You would be missing out if you did not have them sit for your pets and home!”

"Veronica and Adam were amazing house sitters. They took the time to really get to know Remy and Perky and clearly formed a special bond with them. The communication whilst we were away was fantastic, with regular photos and updates on the pets’ adventures. Veronica and Adam asked all the right questions and left the place very clean and tidy. Wonderful house sitters who we wouldn’t hesitate to invite back!"

“Veronica & Adam looked after our cat Bruce & two lovebirds, Albert & Betty for six weeks. This is the first time we’ve left all three pets, and we did so as we had confidence that they would be well cared for. We were not wrong. In fact, they were completely spoiled with both treats, new toys…. And a huge amount of affection. From start to finish, communication was quick and we were happy to receive photos and video updates of our fur and feather babies. We were thankful that Veronica and Adam were very relaxed and with a sense of humour so any mishaps that happened, or things I had forgot to mention or buy, was sorted with ease. Our apartment was cared for as if it was their own, and considering they left some very nice new pans and bath tray behind, I expect (and hope) they will consider coming back again in the future!"

They were proactive in asking for details about our dog and his routine, incredibly organized about the details of their stay, and fantastic about communication. We got perfectly time updates & pictures during the stay, and Chewie always seemed content and happy. They took such great care of our home and went above and beyond several times. "Veronica and Adam house sit our cats Smokey and Shadow for close to 9 weeks. Cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of our fur babies and home. Shadow gets really disturbed around new people. So Veronica and Adam really tried to understand his behaviour patterns and engage with him rightly. Both Smokey and Shadow were pampered and engaged with a lot of playtime together . They even bought them quite a bit of toys. When we returned we found both Smokey N Shadow calm and happy . Did not feel like we had left them for close to 2 months. They also have developed new cute behaviours which they picked up during Veronica and Adam’s stay. We feel the cats miss them both! And our home was taken care of so well. We got it back much cleanser, tidier and just perfect. When we returned this really helped us relax and had no additional work. At no point we needed to do any chasing. They kept us up to date with their travel timeline and arrived the night before our travel. Honestly the first conversation with them in itself gave us a lot of confidence. The communication was excellent, they pretty much shared daily updates of our cars. Really helped us to have worry free time away. We only wish we got some time to spend with Veronica and Ada, to get to know them more. Truly a wonderful experience. Thanks a ton Veronica and Adam!”

"I can only say thank you again to Veronica and Adam! They are amazing :-) As I already said if I could I would like to give them 10 stars! I was always up to date how my cats are and what they are up to. I trusted Veronica and Adam 100% and I was right to do so. My cats were so calm and relaxed when I got back and my flat was cleaner than before! I can only recommend them as house sitters. It was such a good experience and I would always welcome Veronica and Adam back to by place! The cats also told me that they miss them! :-)"

"Veronica and Adam were the best! We were away for 7 weeks and out home and dog, Henry were in safe hands. The communication was fantastic before, during and after the house sit. We go regular updates on Henry and didn't have any concerns or worries about the house of the dog. It made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing Henry was happy - i suspect he like them more than us! No hesitation in recommending to others. Thank you Veronica & Adam"

"It was our first time using the platform and don’t think we could have found anyone better to be honest! Veronica and Adam were quick to respond and very friendly from the start! I think as first time platform users we had our worries regarding safety and trust, so we asked Veronica and Adam for a video call and I must say, we trusted them instantly! Overall, they are very experienced house sitters, polite and respectful. They sent us daily updates of our kitten and showed our kitten nothing but love! They were also very professional and reliable - due to the many cancellations on European flights lately, they made sure to travel to London 2 days prior the sit to make sure they would be available from the agreed date! We also asked them to go for dinner the night before their house sit started. It was so lovely to meet them in person and tell them all about our kitties needs! We highly recommend them :)"

"Veronica and Adam were absolutely fabulous sitters, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Before they arrived, they made sure to touch base several times to verify pet care and make sure that we had their flight info so that we knew when to expect them. It is always difficult to be away from the babies for so long, but we received frequent updates and pictures which made it much easier to enjoy our vacation, knowing that the animals were well looked after and also enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, due to a mystery illness caught right before we left, the toads died during our trip. Veronica and Adam handled their illness and deaths with so much concern and sensitivity; their care made a bad situation tolerable and allowed us to grieve while knowing that toads had been in the best possible hands. Fortunately, this was the only tragedy, but I feel confident that Veronica and Adam would have been capable of tackling any emergency! We arrived home after an exhausting 24 hours of travel to find that not only were the animals fat and happy, but the house was even cleaner than we had left it, so that we were able to immediately relax. Absolutely fantastic sitters!"

"We absolutely could not be happier with Veronica and Adam, having had them watch our apartment and 2 cats for the entire month we were abroad. They made sure to get to town at least a day early so they could come meet us and get their bearings — and they clearly took all the information we provided seriously. They were so easy to communicate with throughout the process, sent us wonderful photos, and truly cared for our animals (and plants). They even bought our kitties some wonderful new toys and sent us hilarious videos. They were kind and considerate in all their communications and left our apartment in just as good of condition as we left it — if not better. If anything, my biggest concern was that our cats liked them more than us. I honestly wish I'd gotten more time to get to know the 2 of them, since they seemed like awesome people — but unfortunately they weren't sitting the house with us in it (hah)."

We got updates and photos of my cats and dog, she was very organized and communicative and my house was so clean when we came home from our trip, it was such a pleasure to come home! "If I could give Veronica and Adam more than 5 stars I would! They were brilliant pet-sitters. They looked after our dog Mango for two weeks, and left him and our home in perfect condition. They were incredibly organized and followed all our instructions about Mango's schedule, habits and challenges really diligently. They communicated well with lots of photos of Mango on walks and enjoying snuggles. They went above and beyond both when our dog walker had to cancel last minute and also when they had to bath Mango several times when he came back filthy! We couldn't ask for more, and would 100% recommend."

"We were very lucky to find Veronica and Adam to sit after being let down at short notice by another sitter. They communicated very well through out the process. The cats were very happy (and got a lot of attention) and the house was left lovely and tidy/clean. I wouldn't hesitate to have them back again for another sit."

"Veronica and Adam spent 3 weeks looking after our home and two dogs. They took great care of Marley and Ben, with plenty of walks, ball throwing and cuddles. They sent us frequent updates with photos and videos and even left us a digital photo frame with all the lovely pictures they took! The dogs miss them and hope they return soon! I have no hesitation recommending Veronica and Adam as conscientious, honest and caring sitters."
